How to Access Old Version WordPress Editor If You Have Upgraded to Version 5.0 or Above

As you all aware that recently WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg Editor has already launched and most of the wordpress bloggers have upgraded to this new version. Some have spread the rumor that, bloggers need to wait for some time and not upgrade their blog to this new version. I would recommend that you should do this immediately and you will enjoy the new features it has especially towards the editor section. It may look little disturbed when you first take a look and start writing, but believe me, once you write 2 or 3 posts, you are going to love this for ever.

This how it looks:

This has dedicated sections where you can add various types of heading, paragraphs and many more. You will find a better tool tip to work with. here is how it looks.

Still if you find it difficult for you, you might be thinking of reverting back to either to your old version or may be you have an option to work in the older editor version while remaining in this version.

So, there are 2 options for you. If you have taken the back of your site, then you can go to your hosting account and from there you can roll back to your older version by uploading and restoring from your back up you had taken before upgrading to the WordPress Gutenberg Editor Version 5.0 or higher.

If you have not taken the back up before upgrading, don’t worry, we have another option for you and this is very much simple to do. Just look for a wrodpress plugin “Classic Editor” in your plugin directory, install if and activate and there you go with the editor which gives you the older editor as long as you want to stay with it and enjoy the upgraded wordpress version at the same time.
